Your Pet Deserves an Experienced Surgical Team
All pet surgeries are performed in our dedicated, sterile surgical suite using advanced monitoring and anesthesia protocols. Prior to any procedure, we require preoperative bloodwork to assess your pet for anesthesia. This step helps us plan a safer, more informed approach to surgery. Our staff will walk you through your pet’s procedure, answer your questions, and review all pre-op and post-op instructions. After surgery, pets will receive pain management. Pet owners will be given clear aftercare guidance to support their companion’s smooth recovery.

Soft-Tissue Surgery
FAQs
In most cases, pets should not eat for 8–12 hours before surgery to reduce the risk of aspiration under anesthesia. Giving water up until a few hours before the appointment is usually fine. We will give exact instructions based on your pet’s procedure.
Recovery times vary by procedure and your pet’s age. We will give you specific post-operative care instructions and signs to watch for during the healing process. Most pets heal from surgical incisions within a few weeks.
Pain management is a top priority. We will send you home with everything needed to keep your pet comfortable. If the pain medications your pet receives do not appear to be helping, please let us know.
In general, the incision should stay clean, dry, and free of swelling or discharge. If you notice redness, oozing, or your pet seems very uncomfortable, give us a call right away. We will talk about your concerns and determine if your pet should come in for a check-up.
Cost depends on the type of surgery and your individual pet. Our staff will review an estimate during your pet’s surgical consultation.
