Agreed that in her day, Dr. Cameron was absolutely the best, as were her office staff. Ownership transferred earlier this year (as a client for over 30 yrs, it would have been welcome to get a message about such an impactful business decision).
So far, I have no complaints about the doctors who have bought the practice, and although there are some understandable areas to work out with changing over the practice, the staff is as committed as ever to provide quality care to our pets and their owners. I let a few of my concerns be known in a previous post and was pleasantly surprised by a follow up with one of the doctor/partners about their future roadmap (including Saturday hours again). I appreciate the time and energy Dr. Saggi took to address my concerns and although these are big shoes to fill, I trust the new vets/owners and staff will continue to provide top notch medical attention to our beloved pets.
Wishing the new staff all the best and Dr. Cameron a well deserved retirement.

BEST vet team I've experienced in the Bay Area! Let me caveat by saying I've been looking for a good vet all over the bay since my dog was a puppy, he's five now. This office was recommended by a family friend who lives Sunnyvale. My experiences with the team at Cameron Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Saggi, Julie, Ella, Rachel, Alicia, Kendra, and Sarah have all been so wonderful.
Our first visit was back in May 2025 and the front desk staff, Ella and Sarah, were so helpful in getting the appointment booked and answering general questions I had before and after the appointment. Julie and Dr. Saggi were gentle, patient and professional with my skittish dog during the appointment. I asked to get additional bloodwork and fecal tests done and Dr. Saggi explained the different options I could do and then walked me through what it all meant when I received the results. He was personable, communicative, and kind. At no point did anyone try to upsell me anything or push any additional services, which I greatly appreciated. He and Julie actually told me the fecal tests weren't strictly necessary since he was healthy, but we had just moved to a new place and I insisted for my own peace of mind.
Earlier this month, I called about a concern that turned out to have resolved itself, but Sarah was incredibly understanding and helped me make an appt that I later canceled with no fuss (or additional charge).
I just picked up my dog from an urgent care drop off appointment today. He broke a nail two nights ago and I called to see if I could get some painkillers and to check if we needed to make an appointment. Throughout the day, Alicia checked back in with me multiple times and even stayed after business hours the day before to make sure I was taken care of. She went above and beyond and I am immensely grateful she put in so much effort to make sure my dog and I were taken care of properly. It was immensely kind of her.
Dr. Saggi was able to check out a picture of the injury over email/phone yesterday and recommended immediate treatment. I was booked for a next morning drop-off (even though I knew they were fully booked). Again, Dr. Saggi called me about the diagnosis, walked me through the treatment options, listened when I voiced my concerns, answered all of my questions, and checked in with me after the procedure.
My dog is my baby and the people at Cameron Veterinary Hospital understand that. They care about our pets and about us, the pet owners. They were kind, accommodating, and professional at every turn. Cameron Vet will have my patronage as long as I live here and I can't recommend their services enough.

This was our first time with the new staff since Dr Cameron has transferred the practice. The new staff is equally caring and compassionate. More important, they are price matching your pets medications to what you might be paying at Costco or your fav online store so that’s a welcome change!
