Cameron Veterinary Hospital has proudly served the Sunnyvale community since 1999. As of 2025, our clinic is under the ownership of Dr. Saggi and Dr. G, with a continued commitment to preserving the clinic’s legacy of heartfelt, doctor-led care. Our team is here to support your pet’s health with services ranging from wellness exams and urgent care to advanced soft-tissue and orthopedic surgeries. Pet owners and their furry companions will always be met with compassion, friendliness, and a team that truly knows pets by name.
Dr. Saggi
Dr. Saggi began his distinguished journey at St. George’s University, School of Veterinary Medicine, and completed his clinical studies at Oregon State University. Dr. Saggi’s work experience includes general practice, preventive medicine, and urgent care, with experience spanning from Northern to Southern California. Throughout his career, Dr. Saggi has been committed to maintaining a warm and welcoming family atmosphere for all his patients. His excellence in patient care, complemented by his thoroughness and honesty, has earned the trust of numerous pet parents, ensuring their beloved pets receive the best possible care.
As a Bay Area native, serving pet families in the Bay Area has always been a lifelong passion for Dr. Saggi, and joining Cameron Veterinary Hospital enables him to continue fulfilling that dream. He is eager to leverage his extensive skills from both urgent care and general practice to provide the highest quality of care to the pet families in our community and beyond. Dr. Saggi’s devotion lies in nurturing and caring for the pets he encounters, ensuring their health and happiness.
Alongside his impressive daily work, Dr. Saggi has devoted countless hours to volunteering at various shelters and community outreach events through non-profit organizations. This commitment has allowed him to provide free veterinary care for pets in both the Bay Area and Los Angeles regions, aiming to keep owners with their pets, as pets are family, too.
Dr. Garikipati
Dr. Garikipati, also known as Dr. G, and his family relocated to the Bay Area from Ohio in January 2021.
Dr. G worked for several years in a busy small animal practice in Dayton, Ohio, with a focus on preventive care, emergency care, dental care, and surgical procedures. He spent a year practicing veterinary medicine in India and worked as faculty for six years during veterinary school in Ethiopia. His passion is providing the best quality care to pets and educating clients in making the right decisions for their pets. In his spare time, Dr. G enjoys taking road trips, camping with friends, and watching movies.
Dr. Cameron
Mary Kate Cameron, DVM, graduated with honors from the Veterinary School at the University of California, Davis in 1982. She has been a small animal practitioner ever since. Before opening Cameron Veterinary Hospital in 1999, her employment as an associate veterinarian lasted nearly ten years. She is continually immersed in continuing education and has been a member of the California Academy of Veterinary Medicine (the voluntary association recognizing excellence in CE) for many years. Her special interests include internal medicine and endocrinology, geriatrics, and unusual pets, such as rats, guinea pigs, ferrets, prairie dogs, and hedgehogs. Her exceptional rapport with patients and her tireless willingness to explain disease entities and health issues to clients has won Dr. Cameron an extremely large and faithful clientele.
Dr. Cameron graduated from Colorado State University in 1975 with a degree in Zoology and emphasis in counseling psychology and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Cameron and her family have deep roots in the Sunnyvale-Cupertino community.
